Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Full Page Screenshot ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our Chrome extension and this website (viewer-site.vercel.app).
Information We Do Not Collect
We are committed to your privacy. Our Chrome extension and this website do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
- Browsing history or activity
- Screenshot content or image data
- Cookies for tracking purposes
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Usage analytics or telemetry
How the Extension Works
When you capture a screenshot, the extension:
- Scrolls through the active tab and captures viewport frames using Chrome's built-in
captureVisibleTabAPI - Stitches the frames together into a single image locally in the browser's service worker
- Temporarily stores the image data in
chrome.storage.localto transfer it to the viewer page - Opens the viewer page and injects the image data directly into the page DOM
- Immediately removes the temporary data from storage after injection
All processing happens entirely within your browser. No data leaves your device at any point during this process.
